ATTORNEY DARA M. BUCHOLTZ

In her three years of trial and litigation experience Dara has taken countless cases to trial, fighting to ensure her clients receive superior representation. What sets Dara apart from other attorneys is she truly cares about her clients' well-being. Dara knows the importance of promptly returning clients' phone calls and emails, no matter the hour.

Dara grew up on a dairy farm in Crawford County, Pennsylvania. Following her graduation as valedictorian from Conneaut Valley High School she attended Gannon University, majoring in International Business. After graduating summa cum laude from Gannon University Dara spent two years teaching English in Taiwan.

Upon her return from Taiwan, Dara attended the John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois, where she was the Managing Editor of the Journal of Computer and Information Science, and the President of the Public Interest Law Council.

In her first year after law school Dara worked at a personal injury law firm in southern Illinois, assisting a multitude of clients obtain impressive settlements for their claims. Dara then worked for over two and a half years at an insurance defense law firm in a suburb of Chicago, Illinois where she obtained insider knowledge of how the insurance companies make their case.

Dara then returned to northwest Pennsylvania to marry her college sweetheart, assist part-time with her family's farm and equipment business, and is now raising a family of her own. Upon her initial return to northwest Pennsylvania Dara also worked at a law firm in Erie, assisting clients to achieve their estate planning objectives.

At The Travis Law Firm, Dara will focus on representing clients in personal injury cases including car accidents, workers' compensation, medical malpractice, premises liability and social security disability.
