Cambridge Springs Motorcycle Event

The 9th Annual Danielle Mitchell Memorial Poker run to benefit Make-A-Wish will be May 23. Here are some of the details taken from their Facebook page

• Registration begins at 9:30am at American Legion Post 381 in Cambridge Springs. Last participant out will be noon.
• All street legal vehicles are welcome. Cost is $15 per rider/driver and $10 per passenger and includes the poker run, food, beverage, prizes for 1st, second and last place, door prizes and live music by The Highlife.
• There will also be a Chinese auction, raffle for a motorcycle tire or battery and a 50/50.
• T-shirts will also be available for purchase.

The weather looks like it will be good so come on out and help us raise money to help children with life threatening illnesses have a bright spot in their days giving them something to look forward to besides medical treatment. Over the last 8 years we have donated over $42,000 to Make-A-Wish and sponsored 12 1/2 wishes.

The cost of wishes as well as the costs of putting on the run have increased, but we have never increased the registration price. So we need more people to participant to meet our goals. Last year we were able to cover 2 wishes and part of another. It would be awesome if we could do 3 wishes this year.
